Sales have risen to €5.3 million, a lot of new business has been acquired and plenty of cases have won awards, making 2016 one of the most successful years for digital agency superReal, which was founded in 1999.
Managed by Volker Will and Oliver Cloppenburg, the agency develops eCommerce solutions for fashion and lifestyle brands: from designs, to fulfilment, to marketing and customer loyalty.
One prominent new client is Beiersdorf: superReal has been the lead digital agency for its long-standing brand NIVEA for the past few months. The agency has also extended its fashion portfolio by including big-name fashion brands hessnatur, Liebeskind Berlin and Q/S designed by.
Another prominent new client is premium cult brand Weber Grill. superReal has been given the lead for online maintenance at Weber-Stephen EMEA (Berlin) and is now responsible for the brand’s concept design, creation, frontend development and content management in all of the EMEA countries.
With this new business, and with numerous cases that have been recipients of biggest eCommerce awards, superReal continues to build up its market position of being Germany’s biggest eCommerce agency for fashion and lifestyle, and the foremost eCommerce provider for creativity. In a study to identify the best online shops run by DEUTSCHLAND TEST and the analysis and consultancy firm ServiceValue, many projects run by superReal came out as winners, such as Liebeskind Berlin, Tamaris and Bench.
The agency has reinforced its teams with more than 20 new employees in project and content management, development and creation, which means superReal has now grown to 75 staff.
In 2016, superReal entered into partnerships with some pioneering technology platforms such as the world’s most advanced eCommerce framework Spryker and the forward-looking shop software, Shopware, in order to strengthen its offering and meet the challenges of a fast-changing commerce market.
